The snow has finally melted... which means it's time to dust off those clubs and start the golf season off with a bang!
Imprints is proud to host the 2nd Annual "Swing For StepStones" Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 10, 2008. Golfers of all skill levels - come out for a day of golf, prizes and fun! All proceeds will be donated to StepStones For Youth to send underprivileged kids to camp.

Teams of 4
(best ball tournament)

Cost:

$100 per person includes:

Green fees
Power cart rental
Banquet dinner
(NY sirloin steak AND boneless chicken breast, dinner rolls, salad, seasonal vegetables, potato, dessert, coffee & tea)
$25 donation to StepStones (individual tax receipt provided)

Send a kid (or many!) to camp

StepStones For Youth strives to promote and continually improve fundamental skills for youth who are economically or socially disadvantaged. These skills will directly increase their potential for achievement at school, in the community, and as members of the workforce.

The camp program relies entirely on the generous donations of individuals and businesses. Camp activities are focused on life skills, literacy, computer skills, outdoor activities, and recreational games. Their program is designed to improve each participant's self esteem, conflict resolution skills, peer interactions, and ways to make safe positive choices, and avoid criminal activity or substance abuse.

This summer, StepStones is hosting their camp program in Owen Sound. The 9-day camping experience costs $350 per camper, and they hope to take 120 campers in total.

100% of the funds raised from the tournament will go towards sponsoring youth to attend the camp program this summer, fully subsidized. For more information on StepStones, please visit www.stepstonesforyouth.com.

Team Challenge - SPONSOR YOUR OWN CAMPER!

Each team's registration fee includes a total donation of $100. While this generous amount is greatly appreciated by Imprints and StepStones, it costs $350 to send a deserving kid to camp.

We would like to challenge each team to sponsor their own individual camper, and support a child's dream of attending the camp!! So ask your friends, families, & co-workers, return those bottles to the Beer Store, host a bake sale or garage sale, sell your old golf equipment on Craigslist... it only takes each member of your team to raise an additional $62.50! Your team will even receive details on the child that you are sponsoring!

If your team raises enough money to send one kid to camp, each of you will be making significant changes to that one child's life. That's definitely something to be proud of - and also to brag about to your competing teams! And as a bonus reward for your efforts, your team will get a free BBQ lunch at the 9th hole! Good luck!
